Present there were youths including figures and young communists of the Sankt-Peterburg City Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation.

Demonstrators, holding placards showing the protest against the U.S. imperialists' aggressive and provocative moves, denounced the U.S. and south Korean authorities for posing constant war threat to the Korean Peninsula.

They extended support and solidarity to the DPRK's demand for the withdrawal of the U.S. troops from south Korea.

Adopted at the demonstration was a resolution for solidarity with the Korean people.

The resolution said:

The youth in Sankt-Peterburg of Russia can never overlook the U.S. military provocative moves against the DPRK.

The U.S. imperialists and their stooges are using the south Korean puppet regime for dampening the decades-old desire of the Korean people for the peaceful reunification of the country.

The south Korean authorities have systemically perpetrated wicked provocations to impair the dignity of the DPRK.

The young communists in Sankt-Peterburg resolutely denounce the U.S imperialists for breaking the international stability and persistently hindering the peaceful reunification of the Korean nation, and the south Korean authorities for following the U.S.
