Officials and working people in the field of agriculture in the province have turned out in a dynamic harvesting drive in order to bring about a boost in the grain production this year.

He underscored the position of the province to realize the intention of supreme leader Kim Jong Un who considers the solution of food issue for improving the people's living standard as the most important affair and discussed measures for successfully finishing harvesting in good time.

Earlier, he looked round the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and held a consultative meeting at which he took measures to give definite precedence to tunneling and increase coal production.
