WPK's 70th Birthday to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) was formed in Karelia of Russia on September 21. V. I. Yegorov, chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to fix the celebration period from September 21 to October 11 and hold diverse political and cultural events including seminar and lecture in praise of the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. |
