S. Korean Bodies Demand Cancellation of Plan for Preemptive Attack on North

| Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of south Korea held a press conference outside the Ministry of Defense in Seoul on Sept. 23 where they demanded the cancellation of the OPLAN aimed at mounting a preemptive attack on the north. Speakers said that at the KIDD meeting the U.S. and south Korean authorities discussed military cooperation in coping with someone's "missile threat and provocation" and development of 4D operation conception into OPLAN. They demanded an immediate halt to act of bringing the danger of war to the Korean Peninsula and threatening peace and stability in Northeast Asia. |
