The preparatory committee includes personages of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Russian Women's Union Named after Kim Jong Suk, the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and other units and bodies for the study of the Juche idea.

The preparatory committee decided to widely introduce the glorious history of the WPK through mass media and hold diverse political and cultural events on the occasion of its birthday which falls on October 10.
