DPRK Wins Gold Medal in Int'l Boxing Tournament

| Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Un Song, a boxer of the DPRK, won a gold medal in men's 49 kg category of the 17th International Tournament on Boxing in Memory of Magomed-Salam Umakhanov, which was held some days ago. He defeated his Uzbek rival in the finals after trouncing his Russian rival with a technical edge. Meanwhile, Ri Kwang Suk of the DPRK bagged a silver medal in women's 60 kg category and Choe Tae Ho and Jang Un Hui bronze medals in men's 52 kg and women's 75 kg category. |
