Guinean Organization Supports October 4 Declaration

Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Guinea-Korea Friendship Association released a bulletin on September 23 on the occasion of the solidarity period for supporting the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and 8th anniversary of the publication of the historic October 4 declaration.

The bulletin introduced the content of the declaration, saying:

As soon as the declaration was published, it aroused full support from not only the entire Korean nation but the international community.

The validity and vitality of the declaration were strikingly demonstrated.

But the north-south relations were totally checked and inched close to the brink of a war by the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea.

Lee totally denied the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and October 4 declaration and pursued only dependence on foreign forces and confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north.

It is an invariable stand and unshakable will of the DPRK to defend and implement the October 4 declaration.

Whether inter-Korean relations make good improvement or go to the brink of a war entirely depends on the attitude of the south Korean authorities to the October 4 declaration.
