According to Director Jo Mi Suk, the camp is associated with the loving care of the peerlessly great persons.

On April 23, Juche 35 (1946), President Kim Il Sung visited this area and gave an instruction to turn it into a health resort for the working citizens.

Later, he gave field guidance to it more than 20 times, indicating the ways for building and operating the resort.

Leader Kim Jong Il, too, visited this resort and saw to it that various kinds of cultural and recreation facilities were supplied. In May 2008 when he toured the camp again, the leader took detailed measures to provide its campers with the best living conditions.

Touched by such loving care of the great persons, the employees of the camp bettered the resort, building more structures and facilities, recently when it was hit by flooding.

In the camp there are fashionable buildings, a park covering an area of 2 000 square meters and several ponds. And the camp is equipped with various sports and cultural facilities, welfare service facilities and supply base.
