U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK Denounced by UK Figures
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- The Confederation against War comprising figures of different political parties and organizations and members of the Parliament in UK held an annual meeting on September 19 denouncing the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK.

It adopted a resolution titled "No U.S. and its allies' interference and aggression on the Korean Peninsula" urging the U.S. to conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The resolution said that we are opposed to the anti-DPRK hostile acts being conducted by the U.S. and its followers on the Korean Peninsula and in its vicinity.

It went on:

For over six decades the U.S. has enforced the criminal policy of economic blockade against the DPRK and perpetrated ceaseless provocations, deploying huge troops and nuclear weapons in south Korea.

The U.S. staged large-scale war exercises for aggression including Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises with the south Korean authorities every year.

The signboard of UN is being abused for these war exercises without any approval of the UN.

The Confederation against War has drawn a conclusion that the danger of war on the Korean Peninsula is caused by the obstruction, interference and the aggressive policy pursued by the U.S., UK and their followers, and strongly opposes them.

It urges the U.S. to conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

No country should be exposed to the threat of a war regardless of differing political system.
