The participants laid a bouquet before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province and paid tribute to them.

The captain and crewmen of the Panama-flagged ship Sea Star 7 were present at the meeting.

Speakers said that the WPK has dynamically advanced, guided by the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of the President.

They noted that the army and people of the DPRK won victories in the Fatherland Liberation War and postwar rehabilitation and construction and successfully realized the great cause of socialist industrialization under the wise guidance of the party and the leader.

Kim Jong Il, who set a world-wide example in the building of a socialist ruling party, pursued the original Songun politics and put the DPRK on the level of a political, ideological and military power, they said, adding:

The WPK has formed a big harmonious whole which shares the idea and intention with the leader. This is the true appearance of the party led by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The speakers wished the Korean people greater success in the efforts to build a thriving socialist nation and accomplish the cause of national reunification under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
