WPK's Founding Anniversary Celebrated in Foreign Countries

Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- A DPRK photo and book exhibition took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and DPRK photo exhibitions and film shows in Anambra, Edo and Lagos of Nigeria and they were also held by the General Union of the Algerian Workers and Saut Al Ahrar Newspaper Office of Algeria between Sept. 28 and Oct. 3 on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Displayed at the venues of the events were famous works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books and photos dealing with the glorious history of the WPK and the Korean people's efforts to build a thriving socialist nation.

Films shown included Korean films "Song Dedicated to the Party" and "Masikryong Ski Resort".

Present at the events were figures from all walks of life and masses of relevant countries.

Speakers at an event held in Malaysia said that the WPK founded by the President and developed by Kim Jong Il has demonstrated its dignity and might as the party which enjoys absolute support and trust of the Korean people.

Figures of Edo State of Nigeria highly praised Kim Jong Un for steadily developing the WPK into the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
