The socialist construction in the DPRK could make steady victorious progress along its orbit despite difficulties and hardship. The master key to this was that the party has given top priority to the work of strengthening the driving force of the revolution.

Today the WPK is dynamically pushing forward the drive of building a thriving nation by dint of the great army-people unity by building up the driving force of the revolution with the People's Army as the main force.

The WPK is a guiding force of the Songun revolution as it is regarding the fighting spirit of the People's Army, the main force of the revolution, as the spirit of the times and wisely leading the whole society to learn from its fighting traits.

The party's leadership is a prerequisite to consistently maintaining the revolutionary principle and firmly embodying it in the whole course of carrying out the socialist cause.

The historical experience and lesson prove that if the revolutionary principle is adhered to, the socialist cause will advance despite whatever difficulties and hardship but if this principle is abandoned, it will suffer degeneration and a setback halfway.
