At least 1 230 guests can cruise in the picturesque Taedong River at a time, being served with Korean and world famous dishes.

The boat has such service facilities as national food restaurant, soft drink room, dinning room, banquet hall, buffet restaurant, deck restaurant, revolving restaurant and shop.

An inaugural ceremony took place on the bank of the River Taedong on Monday.

Present there were Pak Pong Ju, Choe Thae Bok and others, commanding officers and service personnel who built the boat, officials concerned and those in the field of shipbuilding and working people in the city.

DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju made an opening address.

The boat which opened on the threshold of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea is a gift of love Marshal Kim Jong Un presented to the Korean people, he said.

He called upon the officials and employees of the boat would translate into reality the intention of the party which is prioritizing the interests and conveniences of the people and holding them absolute through good service in the spirit of devoted service to the people.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the boat.
