The whole course of the WPK is a history in which it has led the Korean revolution along the road of victory and glory by dint of the Juche idea, founded by President Kim Il Sung.

Guided by the idea, the Korean revolution created the tradition of heroic struggles and immortal feats, smoothly carrying out the heavy tasks for socio-political changes.

Thanks to Kim Il Sung's correct ideas and strategy, the Korean army and people won shining victories in the two revolutionary wars and the two-stage social revolution and socialist construction and have dynamically advanced along the road of prosperity without any deviation.

The absolute truth and might of his revolutionary idea had been displayed more strikingly by leader Kim Jong Il.

In February Juche 63 (1974) Kim Jong Il formulated Kim Il Sung's revolutionary idea as an integral system of ideology, theory and method of Juche, proclaiming the modeling of the whole society on Kimilsungism as the supreme program of the WPK.

And he developed in depth Kim Il Sung's idea of attaching importance to arms into the idea of Songun (army-first) revolution, theory of Songun politics and put forward the theory of building a thriving nation, thus remarkably enhancing the attraction and vitality of Kimilsungism.

Today the great idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il serves as a banner of struggle for the final victory of the Korean revolution under the energetic guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un, who has a strong will to accomplish the cause of Juche.

Kim Jong Un proclaimed the modeling of the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the supreme program of the WPK, providing a decisive guarantee for the strengthening of the WPK and the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Under the Songun leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un, the people in the DPRK are now making long strides on all fronts of socialist construction, creating speed of Korea.
