Huge aggressor forces including the U.S. nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan and a formation of F-22 Raptor are expected to be deployed in south Korea this month.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a commentary in this regard: Whenever there is a sign of improving the inter-Korean relations, the U.S. paid lip-service to "support" for it but, in actuality, deliberately fanned up the confrontation between the north and the south and escalated the tension.

It is the U.S. calculation that the escalating tension on the Korean Peninsula would help justify its arms buildup and put the whole of the peninsula under its control and realize its old hegemonic ambition by igniting a new war.

The U.S. seeks to complete its siege to big powers in the Asia-Pacific region and attain its military purpose by rapidly hurling its forces into the region any time it deems necessary.

This is the reason why the U.S. is reorganizing its forces in the direction of massively beefing up them in the Asia-Pacific region while cutting down its forces in EU and Mideast regions.

The U.S. is introducing its marines, nuclear carrier task force and other huge aggressor forces into the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity while talking about the baseless "threat" from the DPRK. Its final purpose is to launch a war against the DPRK once an opportunity presents itself and put the DPRK under its control by force of arms.

The U.S. ever more desperate efforts to mount a preemptive attack upon the DPRK would only harden its will to bolster up its war deterrence in every way.
