Commemorative Faberge Medal to Kim Jong Un from Russian Academy

| Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un was presented with the commemorative Faberge medal and its certificate by the Russian National Philatelists Academy on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). The academy decided to award the medal, the highest commendation of the academy, and its certificate to Kim Jong Un for his great contributions to boosting the friendly relations and cultural exchange between the DPRK and Russia. Sergei Tkachenko, chairman of the council for supporting the academy, handed over the medal and certificate to an official concerned on Wednesday. He is on a visit to the DPRK to take part in the celebrations of the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK. |
