The message said the history of the WPK is a history of great revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and that of the great revolutionary activities of leader Kim Jong Il who successfully carried forward the idea and cause of the President.

Kim Il Sung is the founder of the glorious WPK, peerless statesman and outstanding leader of the 20th century who developed the WPK into a great guide of the revolutionary cause of Juche and led it to demonstrate its dignity as the prestigious revolutionary party leading the cause of human independence, the socialist cause, the message said, and went on:

The feats the President performed by founding the Juche-type revolutionary party with his outstanding idea and unusual practice and leading the general staff of the revolution with his experienced and tested leadership to glorify the history of modern Korea with the most shining victory and glory will always go down in the history of the country and the struggle of the popular masses for independence.

Kim Jong Il is the eternal general secretary of the WPK who developed it into the great party of the President and the powerful guiding force of the Songun revolution and wisely led it along the road of victory, thus laying an eternal foundation for building a thriving nation.

Kim Jong Il, who formulated the Juche idea fathered by the President as the unique idea guiding the party and the revolution by linking it with the august name of the President, proclaimed it as the supreme programme of the party to model the whole society on Kimilsungism and wisely led the historic cause of materializing it.

By carrying forward the President's idea of attaching importance to arms, Kim Jong Il made ceaseless journeys for leadership over the army and developed the People's Army into the army of the leader and the party. He also formulated the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism and embodied it in all fields of the party and the state activities. This is the outstanding feat performed by him for the cause of our party, the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Noting that Kim Jong Un is a great leader steering with confidence the WPK as the powerful political organization guiding the Juche revolution, true to the idea and cause of the great leaders, the message stressed:

Regarding the instructions of the great leaders as the immutable creed, you have carried out their instructions without an inch of deviation and without a single concession to lead the revolutionary struggle and the construction with your outstanding caliber and experienced and tested leadership. As led by you, the WPK is growing stronger to be the glorious party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il with each passing day.

The heroic advance of the WPK and the army and people of the DPRK will always emerge victorious as they are advancing, with you at the top post of our party and revolution, flying the immortal flags bearing portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Only eternal prosperity and glory are in store for us.
