The glorious path covered by the WPK is associated with the sacred history of the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il who remained most faithful to the idea and cause of the President.

The high prestige and invincible might of the WPK are linked with the august names of the great leaders. It has firmly adhered to its revolutionary character as the party of the leader for decades. This is the fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Over half a century-long history of his leadership over party-building is shining as the undying history in which he brought about a fresh turn in building organization, ideology and leadership art of the party, remarkably increased the leadership role of the party in the revolution and construction and set a brilliant example in building the socialist ruling party.

Thanks to his outstanding idea and leadership the WPK developed into the revolutionary party in which the ideological and leadership system of the leader was firmly established, a mother party serving the people by forming a harmonious whole with them and an invincible party with steel-strong discipline and militancy, demonstrating the dignity and might of Kim Il Sung's Korea all over the world.
