S. Korean Organization Demands Implementation of Inter-Korean Agreement

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Kyonggi preparatory committee for the event common to the nation to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation and 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration held a press conference at the plaza of Suwon Railway Station on October 5 on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration, according to the south Korean internet paper Thongil News.

Speakers at the conference slammed the present chief executive for paying only lip-service to unification and, in fact, fanning up confrontation and conflict in violation of points of the inter-Korean agreement.

They urged the authorities not to spark crisis but to implement the inter-Korean agreement, stop the acts of rattling the nerves of the other side such as leaflet scattering and ensure free NGO exchange.
