First Game between DPRK and Philippine Teams Held

| Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- The DPRK and Philippine teams had the first game in the second stage of the preliminaries of the Asian region of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The game was held at Kim Il Sung Stadium on Thursday. The second stage games started from June 11. Teams of 40 countries and regions play league matches, divided into 8 groups. After its games with Yemen, Uzbekistan and Bahrain teams belonging to Group H, the DPRK team won its rival team Philippines 0:0. The DPRK team is to play the second game with Yemeni team in league matches on Oct. 13. |
