Commemorative Stamp Issued to Mark WPK's Founding Anniversary

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Commemorative stamps (a sheet, sheetlet and individual stamp) were issued by the State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Inscribed on the sheet and sheetlet are the emblem of the WPK and letters "Celebration of 70th Founding Anniversary of WPK" and "Juche 34 (1945)-Juche 104(2015)".

Depicted on the sheet are Korean paining "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung Watching the Party Flag" and Mt. Paektu.

Seen on the sheetlet are images of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Printed there are song "Long Live the WPK" and Korean paintings "Working together for People", "The Great Leader Who Made a Lot of Efforts to Perfect Juche Iron" and "Our Supreme Commander Who Visited Post on Islet despite Rough Sea" and oil painting "Morning in June".

Depicted on the individual stamp are worker, farmer and intellectual dynamically advancing along the road of Juche under the leadership of the party, tightly holding a hammer, a sickle and a writing brush each against background of the azure sky in jubilant October.
