The message said:

I extend the warmest congratulation to you and the Korean people on behalf of the C.C., CPV on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The DPRK and the Korean people have registered great successes under the leadership of the WPK founded by President Kim Il Sung and strengthened by General Secretary Kim Jong Il and First Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The CPV and the Vietnamese people sincerely wish the WPK and Korean people bigger successes in building peaceful and prosperous socialist Korea and accomplishing the cause of defence.

I wish that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and two peoples developed by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and leaders of several generations will be steadily strengthened in the interests of the two peoples and make a contribution to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the rest of the world.
