Present at the meeting were figures of a political party, organizations and bodies including the Ecuadorian national preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK, Communist Party of Ecuador, Ecuadorian Committee for Remembering President Kim Il Sung, Ecuadorian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea and Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification and other masses.

Milton Burbano Bohorquez, chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, said in his speech that the 70 year-long history of the WPK is the sacred days in which the WPK has demonstrated only victories and glory under the leadership of the great leaders, adding:

President Kim Il Sung fathered the Juche idea centered on the popular masses and founded the WPK, guided by it.

The Korean revolution could emerge victorious with the powerful militant staff thanks to the founding of the new-type revolutionary party guided by the great Juche idea.

The Korean people united close around the great party will win only victories in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving the country's reunification and the cause of global independence.
