He said that it was a great event in developing the Korean revolution that President Kim Il Sung founded the WPK on Oct. 10, 1945, adding:

The President provided a firm foundation for founding the party in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and achieved the historic cause of founding the party after the country's liberation.

Leader Kim Jong Il turned the WPK into the organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people with his outstanding idea and tested leadership.

The founding and development of the WPK guided by great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism would be unthinkable without the glorious revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and energetic revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

We wish the members of the WPK and other people big successes in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation, united close around the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un.
