The tablet reads "Comrade Kim Il Sung, president of the DPRK, visited the station on May 21, 1984", "Comrade Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, visited the station on August 11, 2001".

Present at the ceremony were personages of the Western Siberia Railway Bureau of Russia, the Novosibirsk Regional Government and Novosibirsk Railway Station and other masses, the DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy officials and DPRK officials working in Novosibirsk.

The tablet was unveiled by a vice-director of the Western Siberia Railway Bureau of Russia and Kim Hyong Jun, DPRK ambassador to Russia.

Bouquets were laid before the tablet.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.
