DPRK Players Back Home from Asian Swimming Championships

| Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- DPRK athletes returned home Sunday after taking part in the 8th Asian Age Group Swimming Championships. Attending the championships held in Thailand on October 1-7 were at least 180 players from 12 countries and regions, including the DPRK, India, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Japan. The DPRK's teenage swimmers bagged one gold and five silver medals in the championships. Han Yong Song placed first in the men's 10m platform diving of Group B (14-15ages). They were greeted at Pyongyang Railway Station by officials concerned, players and coaches. |
