Present at the talks from the WPK side were Secretary Kim Ki Nam, Vice Department Director Ri Yong Chol and other officials of the WPK Central Committee and from the URP side were members of the delegation of the URP headed by Andrei Klimov, member of the Standing Committee of the General Council of the URP and vice-chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, and staff members of the Russian embassy here.

They discussed a series of issues of mutual concern.

Then a protocol on negotiations on cooperation between the two parties was signed.
