WPK's Founding Anniversary Celebrated Abroad
Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- A seminar, book and photo exhibition and film shows took place in Bangladesh, India and Sweden from Oct. 3 to 5 on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos documenting the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were their works, and books and photos dealing with the struggle of the Korean people.

The participants of the film shows watched Korean films "Pyongyang Today" and "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

Chairman M. Gamrul Huda and General Secretary Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea said that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il led the WPK for decades, making great contributions to its development.

S. P. Pathak, chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, noted that the distinguished feats he performed by leading the WPK for decades serve as a driving force dynamically propelling the socialist cause of the DPRK.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, stressed that Kim Jong Un strengthened the WPK in every way by successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Sweden.
