The book deals with scenic and historic spots in Mt. Myohyang and legends and stories about them. Among them is the Pohyon Temple, one of the typical temples in Korea.

And it tells about sceneries of Piro Peak, Hyangro Peak and Manphok Ravine, fantastic rocks and hermitages in the mountain.

Preserved in Mt. Myohyang are a lot of national heritages showing the cultural and artistic skills and creative talents of the Korean nation.

In the mountain its visitors can see the International Friendship Exhibition House where on display are many gifts presented to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il by the world people.
