Floral Baskets Sent to DPRK Missions in Foreign Countries

Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets sent by political parties, governments, ministries and personages of different social standings of Cuba, Iran and Syria were placed before portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their full-length pictures at DPRK missions in those countries from October 6 to 10 in congratulation of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The floral baskets were sent by the Communist Party of Cuba, the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the minister of Foreign Affairs and the minister of Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, the deputy general secretary and the deputy regional secretary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, the president of the People's Assembly of Syria, the deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Syria, who is minister of Defence, the deputy prime minister who is minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform and the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Syria, the governor of Damascus, the chairman of the General Union of Syrian Peasants and others.
