Minju Joson Terms S. Korean Chief Executive's Ambition for "Unification through Absorption" Pipedrea

Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive in her recent talks with the German president talked about "the process of German unification", "the process of phased confidence-building through exchange and cooperation" and "building up of support from neighboring countries". Not content with this, she begged for "support" and "cooperation" while talking about the "north's abandonment of nuclear weapons" and "improvement of human rights performance." Commenting on this, Minju Joson Sunday terms this another politically-motivated provocation. It goes on: The "process of German unification" is contrary to the north-south agreement, the reality of the Korean Peninsula and the aspiration of the Korean nation. Her remarks are sophism aimed to bring down the DPRK and realize "unification of social systems" and "unification through absorption" by following in the footsteps of Germany. Her talk about "the north's abandonment of nuclear program" and the "improvement of human rights performance" is also aimed to achieve the "unification through absorption". A new war, nuclear war, has been averted on the Korean Peninsula as the DPRK has built up a nuclear deterrence for self-defense by tightening its belt. The assertion that the north should "abandon" the nuclear deterrence is nothing but rubbish meant to plunge the nation into a nuclear war. Obsessed by the ambition for "unification through absorption", she is still seeking "international cooperation" and "confrontation with compatriots. But her ambition is a pipedream. |
