S. Korean Organization Condemns Authorities for Justifying Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army

| Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News, the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1 200th Wednesday meeting before the Japanese embassy in Seoul and condemned the authorities for pushing ahead with the system for introducing "state-compiled history textbooks" in a bid to justify the sexual slavery. Speakers at the meeting accused the authorities of announcing the above-said system under the pretext of the people's unity. The above-said system is aimed to cover the crimes committed by Japan and justify them. The present chief executive is working hard to embellish the pro-Japanese policy and dictatorship in the history textbooks just as the Japanese authorities refuse to admit their war crimes. They declared that they would carry on their actions till the Japanese authorities make formal apology and legal reparation for them. |
