The Russian paper Tsumenskaya Pravda said this in an article titled "New strategic line" on Oct. 8.

The Workers' Party of Korea set forth the line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force at the March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the WPK Central Committee.

The essence of the new strategic line calls for building a thriving nation while strengthening the self-supporting nuclear force for the country's defence capabilities and putting bigger efforts to economic construction.

The line stems from the demand of the situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula.

The line will make it possible to put bigger investment in bolstering national defence capabilities and building economy.

The DPRK is neither Iraq nor Libya which obeyed the U.S. under its pressure.

The world will see how the DPRK mercilessly smashes the imperialists and their followers' moves to stifle it and build a prosperous and thriving nation by dint of powerful nuclear deterrence.
