The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said that the DIU formed by President Kim Il Sung on Oct. 17, 1926 was the genuine revolutionary youth organization struggling for the nation's sovereignty and independence.

The idea and programme of the DIU was successfully carried forward by the WPK founded on Oct. 10, 1945 after the liberation of Korea, he said, adding:

Celebrations of the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK held with splendor in the presence of Marshal Kim Jong Un are historic events that clearly demonstrated to the world the justness of the idea and leadership of the WPK and the invincibility of Korean-style socialism.

The DPRK will as ever achieve victory and glory only.

Secouna Camara, director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea, noted that the formation of the DIU was a historic event of special significance in carving out the destiny of the Korean people and in the Korean history.
