The Ryongmaedo tideland reclamation is a great structure in the era of Songun built thanks to the noble patriotic desire of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il to expand the land of the country and enable the Korean people to enjoy wellbeing generation after generation and the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The completion of the sixth district of the project for reclaiming tideland made it possible to obtain more than a thousand of hectares of new land for agricultural production and change the map of the country.

There took place a ceremony of completion on the spot on Friday.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and minister of Agriculture, Ri Ung Chol, director of the Tideland Reclamation Guidance Bureau, officials concerned and officials and builders of the South Hwanghae Provincial Tideland Reclamation Complex.

An address was made at the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the completed sixth district of the project.
