The authorities were subject to humiliation by the U.S. over the transfer of technology concerning the introduction of fighters, the editorial said, adding that this time they were hit hard by Japan.

When the south Korean minister of Defence said that the Japan "Self-Defence Forces" should get consent from south Korea in case of their advance into the area of north Korea, Japan held that south Korea's jurisdiction is in force only over the area south of the Military Demarcation Line.

All this is attributable to the humiliating diplomacy of the authorities reading the faces of the U.S. and Japan.
