Rodong Sinmun Ridicules "Talks" between Military Authorities of S. Korea and Japan
Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- There took place so-called "talks" between the defense ministers of south Korea and Japan in Seoul on Oct. 20.

The south Korean authorities requested a prior consent in case of the advance of the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" to the area of north Korea under the pretext of "sovereignty". The Japanese side turned down this request, in fact, claiming the area over which south Korea's effective jurisdiction is exercised is the area south of the Military Demarcation Line.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday ridicules their "talks" as a senseless argument.

Those who are no more than war servants of the U.S. talked rubbish, daring have an eye to the inviolable territory of the dignified DPRK, unaware of their awkward position and tragic fate. This has only aroused derision of the public at home and abroad, the commentary notes, and goes on:

At the "talks" the U.S.-Japan-south Korea tripartite cooperation was mentioned, awakening the public to the danger of the triangular military alliance for aggression on the DPRK, pursuant to the U.S. scenario.

Shortly ago, the south Korean chief executive talked about "urgency of the solution of the north's nuclear issue" during her visit to her American master and Obama expressed sympathy. But all facts go to prove that what the U.S., Japan and the south Korean authorities are pushing forward as a priority is the tightened triangular military alliance for the provocation of a new war on the Korean Peninsula.

The developments clearly prove who is a provoker and warmonger bringing the dark clouds of a war of aggression while standing against dialogue and peace.

Those hell-bent on war drumbeats, being seized by the ambition for "advance into the area of north Korea" had better behave themselves, pondering over the catastrophic consequences they will cause to the Korean Peninsula and the north-south relations, warns the commentary.
