Present there from the DPRK side were Minister Choe Pu Il and officials of the Ministry of People's Security of the DPRK and from the opposite side members of the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos led by Minister Somkeo Sylavong and Lao Ambassador to the DPRK Phonekham Inthaboualy.

At the talks, both sides exchanged views on the issue of developing the friendly relations between the security organs of the two countries and issues of mutual concern.
