The article noted in detail that leader Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into an ideologically pure entity, an integral organization and the party which achieved the unity of actions and victoriously defended socialism, holding aloft the banner of Songun despite the severe tests in the closing years of the last century.

It praised Kim Jong Il for building the WPK into an invincible party deeply rooted in the broad masses and the mother party which formed a harmonious whole with them.
