DIU Introduced by Guinean Radios

| Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- Guinean radios introduced the historical roots of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on October 19 on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU). The domestic radio of Guinea said: The WPK, which organizes and guides all victories of the Korean people, could strike its roots after President Kim Il Sung formed the DIU on Oct. 17, 1926. The formation of the DIU marked a historical event of particular signification in the destiny of the Korean people and modern history of Korea. The programme of the DIU based on the transparent idea of independence against imperialism became a basis and a basic groundwork of the programme of the WPK. The principle of independence, the idea of the DIU, serves as unshakable guidelines for the building of the WPK and its activities. The WPK is successfully carrying forward the banner of unity held aloft by the DIU. The international radio of Guinea aired the same program. |
