Full-Length Novel "Morning Shines" Produced

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The April 15 Literary Production Centre produced the full-length novel "Morning Shines". The novel, part of the serial "Immortal Guidance", was written by Rim Pong Chol is set in the period from the late 1980s when all the people of the country waged a high-pitched drive to successfully carry out the third seven-year plan in hearty response to the letter sent by the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea on the occasion of the 40th founding anniversary of the DPRK to 2010. President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il advance a strategic policy to develop the machine-building industry on a new high stage and work heart and soul to implement it. The country's economic construction, however, faces a stern trial as it has to make the Arduous March, the forced march due to the collapse of east European socialist countries, the imperialists' vicious economic blockade against the DPRK, the DPRK-U.S. nuclear stand-off and consecutive years of natural disasters, In the period of stern trial Kim Jong Il makes a bold decision to put the machine-building industry on a new higher stage by channeling all economic potentials of the country. After starting the forced march of history, he ushers in a new history of Korean-style CNC and a new era of breaking through the cutting edge of science and technology with his iron will and courage and patriotic devotion. The novel tells stories eloquently proving his revolutionary comradeship including touching facts about how he enables revolutionary comrades to enjoy eternal lives and leads ordinary scientists and technicians to bear the brunt of the drive for breaking through the cutting edge of science and technology. It makes a truthful depiction of the Korean people's noble spiritual world remaining true to his leadership despite any difficulty and hardship. |
