Nigerian Organization Urges U.S. to Respond to DPRK's Proposal for Concluding Peace Treaty
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article on its website on October 25 urged the U.S. not to persistently shun the proposal for concluding a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The article said:

The U.S. is staging large-scale joint naval exercises with the south Korean navy by bringing nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan, cruisers and Aegis destroyers to the waters off Pusan.

Recently the DPRK set forth an important proposal to defuse the danger of a war and create an environment for lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula by concluding a peace treaty at an early date under the situation where it is impossible to prevent any clash and remove the danger of a new war any longer with the existing Armistice Agreement.

The protracted efforts for dialogue for the denuclearization of the peninsula failed because of the U.S. ceaseless nuclear blackmail and nuclear war exercises against the DPRK.

The U.S. should not persist in its reckless nuclear confrontation racket doggedly shunning the DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty but face up to the reality and make a decision to respond to it.
