Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Fighter
Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Chol Man, an anti-Japanese revolutionary fighter who greeted his 95th birthday.

Born in a tenant family in Unhung County, Ryanggang Province on Nov. 2, Juche 9 (1920), Kim Chol Man joined the juvenile company of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and grew up to be a proud member of the KPRA under the care of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and thus made a positive contribution to accomplishing the cause of national liberation.

He performed heroic feats in battles fought against the U.S. imperialist aggressors during the past Fatherland Liberation War. In the post-war period, too, he protected the Party and the leader, tightly holding the arms of revolution.

The President and leader Kim Jong Il made sure that he was awarded Party and state commendations including Order of Kim Il Sung, Title of Twice Hero of the Republic, Title of Labor Hero and watches bearing the august name of the President. This added shine to his life.

Carrying forward the loving care of the great leaders, Kim Jong Un saw to it that Kim Chol Man was awarded Order of Kim Jong Il and a watch bearing his august name.

The birthday spread was handed to Kim Chol Man on Monday.
