The prosecution authorities made far-fetched assertions that the company might have known the fact that Songi mushroom which the DPRK sold to Chinese was exported to Japan and the Tongbang Company exported Songi mushroom to Japan through Chinese which means the two companies have had indirect relations and conspired with each other.

In the end, the prosecution took such fascist action as sentencing the Company president and others to two years in prison.

The defence counsel revealed the injustice of the ruling, refuting the falsity of the charges made by the prosecution.

Watching the trial, officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan protested the action taken by the court.

The fascist action of the Japanese prosecution authorities is a revelation of the sinister intention of the Japanese reactionaries to incite anti-DPRK and anti-Chongryon sentiment by branding Chongryon as a criminal organization.
