Enraged by the present regime's talks with Japan despite strong opposition by people from all walks of life, students marched towards Chongwadae, holding placards reading "Settle the issue of comfort women!", "No Self-Defense Force's advance into Korean Peninsula!" and "Humiliating south Korea-Japan summit talks".

They demanded Japan settle the issue of sexual slavery as early as possible and make an apology and reparation for its past crimes.

Riot police blocked their advance and walked off all of them.
