Whether the north-south relations improve or not depends on what attitude the north and the south have and how they approach the problem.

The improvement of the inter-Korean relations is not for the interests of one side but for interests common to the Korean nation and its unified development and co-prosperity. The historical truth is that the north-south relations will never improve by one-side's efforts only. The north and the south should try to improve the inter-Korean relations with the sincere stand and attitude of solving the reunification issue, hand-in-hand, in the spirit of By Our Nation Itself. They should not chill the atmosphere nor lay an artificial obstacle in the way of improving the relations.

Now the inter-Korean relations develop step by step while tiding over difficulties thanks to the ardent enthusiasm of Koreans aspiring after reconciliation and cooperation, although there are challenges.

The problem is the maneuvers of dishonest forces displeased with north-south dialogue and improvement of the inter-Korean relations and the bad habit of the south Korean authorities slandering the dialogue partner and resorting to confrontation moves, while calling for dialogue outwardly.

It is illogical to have trustworthy dialogue between the north and the south for improvement of the relations amid confrontation rackets against the fellow countrymen in the north.

If they positively respond to expectation and trust of all Koreans with patriotic and bold decision there would be an excellent fruition of great change in the inter-Korean relations.
