Rodong Sinmun Accuses Japanese Reactionaries of Their Visits to Yasukuni Shrine
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Ultra right-wing politicians of Japan visited Yasukuni Shrine in group on the occasion of the autumn memorial service.

The present chief executive was the first to make ritual offering to the shrine. He was followed by the minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the House of Councillors.

Not content with the offering, the minister of Internal Affairs, the minister of Justice and others personally visited the shrine. In the closing days of the service about 70 lawmakers affiliated to "the Association of Dietmen for Visiting Yasukuni Shrine" swarmed to stage a ritual there.

Rodong Sinmun Friday observes in a commentary in this regard:

Their visits to the shrine are an undisguised insult to the Asian people who suffered unspeakable disasters, pain and misfortune at the hands of the Japanese imperialists.

This is, at the same time, an impudent act of the descendants of Samurais working hard to call back the departed soul of the militarists in a bid to realize their wild ambition for reinvasion, the commentary says, and goes on:

There is an increasing number of Japanese poisoned by militarism advocated by the shrine.

It is not far off when Japan would launch reinvasion under the pretext of "international cooperation" and "international contribution."

The Japanese ruling quarters should be mindful that their reinvasion would lead Japan to ruin.

They had better make an honest apology and redeem the past crimes as early as possible, not being hell-bent on the revival of militarism and reinvasion.
