Respiratory Epidemic Spreads in South Korea

| Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A respiratory epidemic dramatically spread in south Korea, arousing great concern, according to MBC and KBS of south Korea. The epidemic with symptoms of pneumonia was reported to occur at Konkuk University on Oct. 19. Three postgraduates complained of the symptoms of pneumonia after using a lab in a college of the university and their number increased to 21 just a few days later. The number of the persons infected with the disease reportedly reached 52 as of Nov. 2. The cause of infection remains unknown. |
