Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, clarified the three-point strategy of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), which attaches importance to the people, to the army and to the young people, in his speech made at the military parade and public procession of Pyongyang citizens to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the WPK. The strategy of attaching importance to the people is based on the idea of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il which suggests believing in the people as in Heaven. It was their lifelong motto and creed that if one believes in the people and relies on them at all times, one will always emerge victorious and the popular masses are the most almighty being. They always found themselves among the people and devoted their all to the happiness and wellbeing of people. The strategy of attaching importance to the army is based on the idea of Songun (army-first) revolution which was pioneered and developed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Under the banner of Songun, Kim Il Sung led two revolutionary wars against the imperialists to victory and gave wise leadership to accomplishing the two-stage social revolution and socialist construction. Kim Jong Il developed the Korean People's Army (KPA) into the army for the party and the leader and put forward the KPA as the driving force of the revolution, winning victory after victory in the confrontation with the U.S. The strategy of attaching importance to the young people is based on the idea of giving priority to them set forth and held fast to by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, which has inspired them to great feats. |
