Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and other books, photos showing the true picture of Songun Korea and fine art works associated with the resourcefulness and talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremony were the first vice-minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration of Russia, a vice-president of the library and other Russians and officials of the DPRK mission in Khabarovsk.

The participants laid a floral basket, bouquets and flowers before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

The first vice-minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration of Russia said that the exhibition marked a good occasion in showing the cultural exchange between Russia and the DPRK developing day by day.

The first vice-minister expressed belief that colorful cultural cooperation and exchange between Khabarovsk and the DPRK would make clear contribution to developing friendly relations between the people of the two countries.

The vice-president of the library said that various events held here this year helped Khabarovsk citizens know better about the reality of Korea and its time-honored history.
